Are you a trained truck or vehicle mechanic with experience in the automotive industry? We at Berners Heavy Vehicles are expanding and looking for more truck mechanics for our new workshop in Verksmon, Östersund!

Seize the opportunity to work with the renowned brand SCANIA and join us on our journey into our new facility.

With us, you will work in an authorized brand workshop with Scania trucks, trailers, and semitrailers. There is a wide range of tasks, and no day is the same.

You will work with:

• Electronics and hydraulics

• Repairs, service, and maintenance

• Troubleshooting

• Superstructures on truck chassis

• Damage repairs

• AC systems and transport refrigeration

We currently have 16 mechanics who work closely with service advisors, foremen, and parts advisors.

In Östersund, we have one of our larger workshops, and at the turn of the year, we will move to a completely newly built facility in Verksmon. With new premises come new opportunities, and to better meet the demand from our customers, we are looking for more colleagues!

The new workshop is fully adapted for our service market and provides you as a mechanic with a smooth and efficient workday. Our employees have also been involved in designing the work environment to create the best possible conditions.

• Adaptation for electrification and battery work through an insulated workshop ship with a high level of cleanliness

• Has a high school education with a focus on vehicles or technology

• Alternatively, has work experience in heavy mechanics, automotive mechanics, industrial mechanics, or has worked with construction and earthmoving machines or forestry machines

• At least a B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience in troubleshooting and repair within complex systems, mainly electrical and electronic, but also handling the high-voltage systems found in today's electric trucks/cars.

As a person, you are organized, self-driven, and strive to perform repairs with high quality.
